Me, Lovisa Myhrman

Ok, so this is the first time I’m writing on this blog. It’s a snowstorm outside and the mountain is closed. No riding today so it’s a perfect day to start blogging. =)

Who am I then? My name is Lovisa Myhrman and I’m a Swedish girl living in France. I work as a teacher in Geneva and my home resort is Avoriaz. I’ve been riding for 12 years now and five of those years has been in Avoriaz. I used to ride in the Grand Massif but moved to Avoriaz because of their exelent pipe and parks.

I have to be honest with you from the start, I’m a true and dedicated pipe-rat. There is not much that can keep me away from the good pipe in Avoriaz, maybe a really good powder day. I have been competing for 10 years. Last year was my first time on the World cup, but I have been competing on an international level before, on the TTR circuit.

So why I’m I writing on this blog? I’ve been riding for Völkl for 5 years. My first year was on the national team and then I got picked up on to the international Pro-sistaz team. I rode international for 4 years and now I’m back on the  national team again. I love Völkl boards and they have really helped me to develope my level of riding. Right now I’m riding the female jib board « Impress ». It’s a really good park board, it’s super light and easy to handle. It has an amazing flex and a really cool design. It’s been specially developed by Claudia Fliri, Vökls top female rider.

Now its time to sleep so I can rise and shine tomorrow, which should be an amazing powder day. Enjoy the snow until the next time!!!!
